MUNI Metro is one of the oldest Light Rail systems in the US
Only 52% of MUNI Metro Stations are ADA Accessible
5 Lines run through the Market Street Subway, reducing capacity and reliability
While there are plans to increase capacity, there are no plans to modernize the system
Reduce interlining in the Market Street Subway from five lines to one
Allow for low-floor trains and level boarding on surface-only lines (J, K, L, N)
Increase capacity by using 3 car trains in the Market Street Subway between West Portal and Caltrain
Make most MUNI Metro stations wheelchair accessible

K Ingleside Bus and N Judah Bus replaced by early morning K Ingleside and N Judah Service
Between 5 AM and 6 AM on weekdays and 5 AM and 8 AM on weekends, the M Market Bus operates every 12 minutes between Caltrain Depot and West Portal Station
To supplement the N Judah ending at Church Station, 7 Haight-Noriega frequency improved to every 10 minutes
To allow for an improvement in frequency on the T Third Street, 15 Bayview Express discontinued
To maintain coverage in Hunters Point, 23 Monterey extended to Hudson & 3rd Street and 54 Felton follows 15 Bayview Express route north of Revere Avenue to Hudson & 3rd Street

More trains and better service frequency across the system
Making transit available to all San Franciscans
Fewer delays and more consistent service
Some riders may need to transfer between lines for their journey
Some bus lines may see higher ridership as they supplement metro service
